The SE 2050 Commitment Program (“SE 2050”) is dedicated to supporting our professional community in the goal of achieving net zero embodied carbon structural systems by 2050. SE 2050 is run by a committee of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), a 501(c)3 organization. Our work is primarily supported by volunteers dedicating their time to a critically important cause operating almost exclusively on donations and grants. Your donation will fund several key initiatives including the development and maintenance of our embodied carbon and structural material quantity database, developing educational resources including our free ECOM tool and embodied carbon guidance documents, and making the necessary updates and maintenance of our website and advocacy materials.
Your generous gift is tax deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes as allowed by IRS regulations. ASCE’s federal tax ID is 13-1635293. You will be mailed a receipt for your contribution to your billing address.
Every gift, no matter how large or small, makes a difference. Help us accelerate the understanding, education, advocacy and tracking of embodied carbon in our structural systems as we aim to achieve net zero by 2050!
